For many of us who grew up in Farmers Branch / Carrollton, the Happening Sound Shop located at Josey & Beltline in Carrollton, was a local landmark.  Though not as big as Peaches or other franchise record shops, Bill always made everyone feel welcome and knew everyone by name .... as long as your name was "Gold Dust" !  He took special orders and be on the watch for those picture sleeve 45s for his regulars.  "Did ya bring your Punch Card ?"  Many of us on the mail list talk often of Bill and the record store.  They are both missed !
