C. L. Chastain, the city fire chief has the city chemical fire wagon located under the band stand and will organize a volunteer fire company in the near future>
The fire wagon has two tanks, with a ninety gallon capacity and will flow a continuous stream. When the fire company is organized, Carrollton will have good protection against fire, another step forward for our little city.
