OBITUARY

Patricia Hartin Barnett
August 12, 1938 - February 2, 2022

Patricia Hartin Barnett, 83, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on February 2, 2022.

She was born in 1938 to Robert and Laura Hartin in Alabama where she was raised and always considered Montgomery to be her home. Patricia moved to Carrollton, Texas in 1967 where she lived until her passing. She worked her entire life and especially loved her career at the Carrollton-Farmers Branch School District where she worked for almost 30 years, finally retiring at age 79.

Patricia loved to travel so long as an airplane was not part of the plan; she had various hobbies such as cooking for her family, reading, making jewelry and spending time with her many friends. In addition, she would feed and shelter any homeless pets she found and take food to the homeless in Carrollton.

Her son Daniel Davies and wife Kathy, son Wallace “Dell” Delano Barnett Jr, grandson Joshua Linze and wife Crystal, grandson Zachary Davies, great granddaughters Ashlyn and Amelia Linze, and daughter in-law Laura Tucker survive Patricia.

Her parents Robert and Laura Hartin, brother Robert Lewis Hartin, husband Wallace Delano Barnett, and infant son David Richard Barnett preceded Patricia in death.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the organization of your choice or to Operation Kindness animal center in Carrollton, TX.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022, beginning at 5pm followed by a memorial service at 6pm at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home located at 740 S. Edmonds, Lewisville, Texas 75067.
