OBITUARY   Jeffrey Ross Barr was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. Jeff, at age 52, passed away peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 18, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Lucien and Barr Jr. He married Kimberly Dixon on January 1, 1992. Jeff is survived by his wife, Kim of Savannah; mother, Ethel Janette Barr of Lewisville; son, Tyler Barr of Savannah; sister, Kim and husband Kriss Holt of Carrollton; niece, Michelle Nickeson and husband Daniel; and nephew, Brian Holt. A memorial service for Jeff will be held at the Christ United Methodist Church in Farmers Branch on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The church is located at 2807 Valwood Parkway. Memorials may be made to the Barr Memorial Fund at any Bank of America Branch. This memorial fund will benefit a boy scout in Troop 9168, who has a financial need to attend summer camp.
