Lyle G., 29 of Carrollton, passed away on June 30, 1997 in Dallas. He was born on October 28, 1967 in Enid, Oklahoma. Lyle graduated from R. L. Turner High School in 1986 and from Oklahoma Stat University in 1991 with a degree in business. Lyle was employed by Tindall Record Storage and enjoyed playing softball for The Branch Merchants softball team. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Ekstrom of Carrollton; father & stepmother, Mr. & Mrs.  Bill Battin, Kansas City, Missouri, maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Buchanan, Enid, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Mary Battin, Enid, Oklahoma, fiance, Evette Blanchet, Dallas; several aunts, uncles, & cousins. Service, Thursday July 3, 1997, 10:00 A.M. RHOTON CHAPEL, Rev. Bob George & Rev. Bob Christopher officiating. Interment, Hilltop Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers, member of the Branch Merchants Softball Team. The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 2, 1997, 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
