OBITUARY
 
Gerard L. Bauwens
BAUWENS, GERARD L., Born October 15. 1939 in Chicago and passed away June 14, 2007 in Dallas. He lived in St. Louis for 26 years where he worked for McDonnell Douglas and Western Electric. He was ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church in 1981 and served St. Sabina Parish
in Florissant, MO. He moved to Dallas in 1987 where he worked for AT&T/Lucent Technologies and served as deacon in Mary Immaculate Parish in Farmers Branch, TX. Following his retirement, he volunteered as Chaplain and served in several capacities on the Volunteer Auxiliary Board of including President at Trinity Medical Center, Carrollton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Geraldine, son Edward Bauwens, and daughters Lynn Morel and Anne Coe, eight grandchildren and extended family and friends. Visitation on Monday June 18, 2002 from 6:30-8:30pm at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. The Rosary will be at 7 pm. Funeral Mass at 10 am on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Mary Immaculate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Charities or the Mary Immaculate Building Fund.
