OBITUARY

Ralph W. Bell

Ralph Wyatt Bell, Sr., 72, of 1007 Maryland, Carrollton, former constable here for 12 years, died Tuesday in Brookhaven General Hospital, where he had been a patient two days.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press time. Services were to be held in Rhoton, Weiland-Merritt chapel with burial in Webb Chapel Cemetery, Farmers Branch.

Mr. Bell, native of Dallas, was born Sept. 22, 1898. He retired some six years ago after having served 12 years as constable for Dallas County in the local precinct.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Mamie Lynn Bell of Carrollton; two sons, R. W. Bell, Jr., Farmers Branch, and Harold J. Bell, Philadelphia, Pa; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
