DALLAS Ronald L. Bell, 49, of Carrollton, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 7, 1998, in Carrollton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sparkman-Dickey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.

Mr. Bell was born Nov. 25, 1948, in Paris, Texas. He had survived a bone marrow transplant five years ago and was waiting for a liver transplant.

Survivors include his wife; Susan McDaniel; a son, Jeffrey M.; his parents, Don and Patsy Bell; a sister, Jackie Spragins of Wichita Falls; and one grandson.
