OBITUARY

Velma Faye Ramsey Black, 79, of Farmers Branch, TX passed away on August 8, 2013. Mrs. Black was born in Corsicana, TX on November 2, 1933. Her husband Carey F. Black, her parents, Homer and Myrtle Greer Ramsey of Corsicana, and her brother Lowell Ramsey of Corsicana preceded her in death.
Her sister Francis Ellington, three children, Michael, Cindy, and David, and her three grandchildren, Jennifer, Lauren, and Angela survive her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Velma was involved in her church and enjoyed her Sunday school classes.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch on August 13th, 2013 at 11am with Brother Sam Underwood officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow at Hilltop Memorial Park. Arrangements by Rhoton Funeral Home.
