OBITUARY

J. H. Blalack Died Saturday

Funeral services were held in Dallas at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Cox on Glascow Drive on Sunday for J. H. Blalack, uncle of Mrs. Cox. Burial was made in Plano Cemetery. Mr. Blalack died Saturday night in St. Paul's Sanitarium after waging a losing fight against the disease which claimed him. He had become much weakened and blood transfusions had been resorted to in an effort to save him, but to no avail.
J. T. Blalack was a brother of Mrs. J. M. Allen and Miss Nora Blalack of this place. He was 54 years of age and unmarried. He had three other sisters besides those just named and they reside in Dallas, Garland and Plano. He also is survived by three brothers, one residing in Sherman, one in Mexia, and one in Dallas.  He was reared in the Plano community and resided there during his lifetime. A number of Carrollton peole were in attendance at the funeral services in Dallas and burial in Plano.
