EDNA MAE, Went to be with the lord on January 17, 2007 at the age of 84.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Blankenship and sons John
C. Blankenship and Lloyd Blankenship . Edna is
survived by children Mary Perry and husband Charles, Sarah Birdwell and
husband Mike, Joe Blankenship and wife Evelyn, Bernice Evett and husband
Leonard and Charlie Blankenship. She is also survived by 12
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as her brother Bobby
Allen and wife Pat, Sisters Nancy Tarter and husband Powell, and Frankie
Wilson in addition to several nieces and nephews. She was an avid doll
collector and loved traveling with her children and spending time with
her grandchildren. She had a very endearing way of expressing her
opinions and she always took time to listen to her family, and gave good
advice. Visitation will be Friday 1-19-07 from 6-8 P.M. at Rhoton
Funeral Home and services will be Saturday 1-20-07 at 2 P.M. at Rhoton
Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Restland. Dignity Rhoton
