OBITUARY

BOWEN -Walter A. Bowen, 68, died at a sanitarium in Amarillo Tuesday. He was born in Bolivar, Mo. Jan 1, 1860. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Annie Mae and Pauline Bowen, and a son, Henry Bowen, all of Dallas; his mother, Mrs. W. W. Bowen; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Austin and Mrs. R. E. Adams of Dallas, Mrs. E. T. Overland of Arlington; five brothers, S. P. Bowen of Dallas. W. B. Bowen of Wildorado, M. E. Bowen of Los Angeles, the Rev. R. B. Bowen of Hereford and the Rev. W. A. Bowen of Hope, Ark., and two stepbrothers, J. H. Wilkins of Krum and Hunt Wilkins of Kansas Co., MO Funeral services will be held at the Smith Chapel in Dallas Wednesday by afternoon, with burial at Farmers Branch. The pallbearers will be C. P. Baynes, C. G. Hickox, V. Henry, Thad Henry, Jr. J. Frank and George M. Dennis.
