OBITUARY

Leonard Lee Boyd “Hammy”, 83 of Denton, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013. He was born on September 24, 1929 in Dallas to James Lee Boyd and Zelmer Boyd. He married Ethelene Stallings in Gainesville, Texas. He was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church in Krum.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 6-8 pm at the Open Range Cowboy Church in Krum. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:00 am at the church with Pastor John Richie Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Open Range Cowboy Church in Hammy’s name, 7290 Hawkeye Road, Krum, Texas 76249.

Hammy is survived by his wife, Ethel; son, Bob Boyd and wife Deborah; daughter, Sherry Neu and husband Tim; grandchildren, Cody Boyd and wife Jennifer, Clayton Boyd and wife Sarah, Kelly Boyd and fiancé Justin Troth; and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Zelmer Boyd; and granddaughter, Stormie Schott.
