OBITUARY   Thomas E. Brim 12/26/1935 - 7/14/2014 Celebration of Life Services for Thomas E. Brim, 78, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Scotty Sanders officiating. Mr. Brim was born December 26, 1935, in Dallas County, TX and died after a lengthy illness on July 14, 2014 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. Tommy was a wonderful and loving man who will be greatly missed. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Peters Brim; son and daughter, Barry and Judy Brim; stepsons, Tommy, Scotty (Cindy), Ricky (Paula) and Casey (Sharon); siblings, Johnny (Vivian) Brim, Joyce (Barney) Tucker, Beverly (Mike) Ferguson and Janice (Pete) Nelson; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sandra (Ronnie) Dufrene; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M., until service time on Tuesday. Mr. Brim’s family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Glenwood Regional Medical Center for their excellent care.
