Glenda Ruth Britt, 61

Glenda Ruth Britt, 61, a resident of Gassville passed away

Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 19, 1951, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Charles Bryan and Frances Parker Britt. Glenda worked as a daycare teacher for over 30 years. She was a member of the Gassville Baptist Church where she taught a toddler's class for numerous years. Glenda was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bryan Britt.

Survivors include her parents, Charles and Frances Britt of Gassville; an aunt, Ruth Britt of El Dorado; an uncle, Glyn Dean Parker of Denton, Texas and a niece, Blair Elizabeth Britt of Colorado.

The family received friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the Gassville Baptist Church.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the Gassville Baptist Church with the Reverend Gary Wise officiating. Interment will be private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

The Deacons of the Gassville Baptist Church served as honorary pallbearers.
