June O. Brooks went to be with her savior May 30, 2011. She was born June 1, 1923, and married N. Earl Brooks in 1938. They had two children. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years, her older sister, and a granddaughter. June is survived by her two children, Jimmie Brooks of Glendale, Arizona, and Berry Moore of The Colony, Texas, one granddaughter, two grandsons,  and seven great grandchildren, her younger sister and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Funeral service will be Friday, June 3 at 1:00 pm also at First Baptist Church of Carrollton with burial to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to The Gideon's International, International Commission, and FBCC Live Wire Choir and Forerunners Ministries.
