Flora L. Brown , 88, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 15, 1999. Born October 6, 1910 in Ft. Worth, TX, the daughter of David Andrew and Leona Caldonia (Hadley) Nelson. Married Arthur Brown on March 24, 1928. Had lived in Tulsa and Jenks since 1948. Preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons, a daughter, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors: sons, Herbert Milton Brown of Tulsa and Donald R. Brown of Ft. Smith, AR; daughters, Nora L. Marlow of Owasso and Wanda Sue Naumann of Sand Springs; brother, Horace Nelson of Stringtown, OK; sisters, Stella Bowers of Quinlin, TX and Zetta Stavely of Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Service Friday, June 18, 10 a.m. in the Heath-Griffith Memorial Chapel with interment at 1 p.m. at the White Cemetery in Gore, OK.
