OBITUARY

Stanley T. Burney

ALAMO - Stanley T. Burney, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at a regional hospital.

Funeral: No service.

Stanley Burney was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Clemville. He was a graduate of North Dallas High School and Southern Methodist University. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Forces and a longtime resident of Southlake until he retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He moved to Alamo Country Club where he lived in paradise 19 years.

Survivors: Wife, Betty Burney of Alamo; daughters, Carolyn Roe of Keller, Linda Szydlik of Denton; five grandchildren, Kelly Poulter of Valley Ranch, Tammie Ramsey of Keller, Wendy Lunsford of Arlington, Rodney Housewright of Denton and Lt. Brian Szydlik of Savannah, Ga.; and nine great-grandchildren.
