Florine Sigmon Burns of Farmers Branch passed away on December 27, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. She was born to Dora and Bradford Settlemyre in Newton, North Carolina on August 20, 1925. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Metrocrest Funeral Home 1810 N. Perry Rd. Carrollton,Texas from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, 2807 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas. Burial will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton, Texas. Memorials can be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 2807 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.
