OBITUARY

Former Resident of County Dies
John B. Butler, 79, a former Farmers Branch truck farmer, died Wednesday at his San Angelo home.
A native of Kentucky, Butler was brought to Farmers Branch by his parents when he was 15 years old. He lived and farmed there until 1928 when he moved to San Angelo. He was in the real estate business there until he retired in 1947.
He is survived by a son, Floyd Butler, and a daughter, Mrs. Lena Fountain, both of San Angelo; a brother, Joe Butler, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Holt, both of Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at McKamy Ingram-Batchler Funeral Home, 1921 Forest. burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery
