"Kathy" Whitfield Luke Calvert
May 30, 1956 - February 15, 2016

Kathleen Whitfield Luke Calvert, beloved daughter, sister, wife,
grandmother and friend to all, passed away peacefully on the morning of February
15, 2016 at the age of 59. Kathy’s motherly ambitions were to care for and raise
her only son Jason. She attended his soccer, football, and baseball games over
the years offering her motherly advice and encouragement to her super star.
Kathy’s love for God’s creatures was especially evident with her affection for
dogs. Her latest brood, Cheyenne, Baily, and Utah will surely miss their
caregiving momma. Kathy received many complements for her skills in the kitchen,
cooking her signature lasagna covered in cheese and her spicy pumpkin bread she
made every holiday season.
Kathy’s greatest joy was her granddaughter Isabella Ekberg. She carried a wallet
full of “Isa pictures”, ready to show them off at the first opportunity.
She leaves behind a family that she deeply loved and cared for, that will miss
her immensely; including her twin sister, Carol, her son, Jason, and husband,
Keith.
There will never be anyone more beautiful and kind than she was, inside and out.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016, at
Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
