HER HUSBAND'S OBITUARY

Services for David Truman "D.T." Carroll Sr., 63, Fruitvale, were held Sunday at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel in Canton. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton. Mr. Carroll died August 20, 1998 in Edgewood.
He was born January 7, 1935, in Edgewood to Edgar and Velva Zetty Carroll. He was a lifelong resident of the Fruitvale area and a graduate of Edgewood High School. He retired from Morton Salt Co. after 23 years of employment. He worked at Texas Instruments in Dallas for a number of years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fruitvale.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Burdett Carroll in 1989, and brothers Jeff Carroll and Willie Carroll.
Survivors include sons, David Carroll Jr., Fruitvale, and Dale Carroll, Grand Saline; daughter, Mrs. Diane Stone, Fruitvale; brother Herb Carroll, Fruitvale; sisters, Mrs. Doris Long, Mineola and Mrs. Janice Herron, Round Rock;; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Billy Wayne Smith, Joe Max Zetty and Roy Akins. Honorary pallbearer was Freddie Ayers.
