2 slayings in Farmers Branch resemble executions
 

FARMERS BRANCH - Two people were fatally shot in Farmers Branch last night in what police said appeared to be execution-style slayings.

Farmers Branch police said that Thanh Van Doan, 21, and Loi Gia Chau, 19, each had been shot in the head with a .45-caliber pistol.

Police went to the residence at 13934 Dennis Lane after receiving a call at 9:46 p.m. from a woman who said two people had been shot in the home's rear bedroom.

The two were transported by ambulance to RHD Memorial Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.

Farmers Branch police said they would release more details as they become available.

The investigation was continuing this morning, a police spokesperson said.
