OBITUARY
|
COLWELL, BARBARA ALLEN, age 80, resident of Arlington, passed away
Monday, September 1, 2003 at her residence after a short illness. Born
in Salt Lake City, Utah, she had been a resident of Texas since 1933 and
former longtime resident of Grand Prairie. Barbara was a homemaker. Mrs.
Colwell had worked for the Dallas County Tax Office in Oak Cliff as an
assistant manager. Member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints. Survived by: Husband of 62 years:
Joe Colwell - former mayor of
Grand Prairie, Children: Judy & husband, Terry Peal of Arlington, Joyce
& husband, Don Stanfield of Grand Prairie, Steve & wife, Pat Colwell of
Weatherford, Don & wife, Donna Colwell of Houston, 15 Grandchildren, 27
Great, grandchildren and many friends. Visitation: 7 - 9 pm, Wed., Sept.
3, 2003 Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. Services: 10:00 am, Thurs.,
Sept. 4, 2003 Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Private
