Mrs. Hornsby

Mrs. Anna Bell Hornsby Cook passed away at Baylor Hospital in Dallas Thursday, March 31, after a short illness.
She was 51 years of age.
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Cook at Sparkman Hillcrest Chapel in Dallas at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 2 with her pastor, Dr. Johnson officiating.
Graveside services were held at Downing Cemetery at 4:30 p.m. with her son, David officiating.
Mrs. Cook was reared in the Downing Community being the daughter of Mrs. Vera Simpson Hornsby and the late M. D. Hornsby, Jr.
She was head homemaking teacher at R. L. Turner High School in Dallas at the time of her death.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1966.
She is survived by two sons, David and Dale Cook, and her mother, Vera Hornsby, all of Dallas.
