SANDRA'S OBITUARY
Sandra Cook was born on July 31, 1948, in Cisco Texas. She lived a full life and recently passed away after her fight with leukemia. Preceding her in death were her parents, Dena and Henry Knight, and her brother, Dennis Hazelwood. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James Cook; her children, Andrew Cook and Alison Granato, and their spouses, Melissa Cook and Evan Granato; as well as her sister, Rosalind Deatherage. Her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of her grandchildren: Natalie, Nathan, Abigail, and Olivia

Sandra graduated from Texas Woman’s University and met her husband working as a respiratory therapist. Her greatest joy was her family. She was dedicated to her children and never missed a practice or important event.

Sandra loved traveling, especially while on cruise ships, and spent most of her time watching shows and testing her knowledge with daily trivia. She visited all seven continents during her travels.

When not traveling, Sandra found comfort in reading, watching golf, and taking care of her four grandchildren. Though she was shy, she was a great listener and was somebody with whom the family loved to talk with over the phone.

Sandra Cook’s service will be held on August 26th at 2PM at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, located at 740 Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 7506
