Preparing for the Next Crop
Farmers Branch, Tex., Dec 2. - The farmers having begun in earnest plowing for the 1898 crop. Mr. Howard Cox started three disk sulkeys yesterday morning on the John Fields farm, and after about one hour's plowing he discovered that his pocketbook containing $115, which was in his hip pocket was gone, whereupon he stopped the plows and put six men to work with hoes digging and raking over the fresh plowed ground in search of his lost treasure. They unearthed it about noon to-day.
