OBITUARY

John Edward Criss
September 24, 1966 - August 29, 2016

John Criss, 49, passed away Monday morning August 29th at his home in Carrollton, Texas after his 2 year battle with a rare form of lung cancer. Born to LuJuana Livingston and Tom Criss and raised by Jerry and LuJuana Livingston, he spent much of his life in Farmers Branch, and it's there he met and married his high school sweetheart, Gail Jones.

He was a gifted mechanic and computer technician; skills he put to work over the years working for Sears Service Center and for the past 18 years Data Magic Computer Services. But it was his family that was the center of his world, and he worked hard everyday at whatever he was doing in an effort to make their life better.

He extended that gracious spirit beyond his immediate family. If John could help, no matter who was asking, he'd answer the call.

He was a mountain of a man that towered over most but held gentle and consoling the hand in need. Devout in his faith and no doubt welcomed home Monday with opened arms, John is survived by his wife Gail Criss, and his two children Shelby Rangel with her husband Rodrigo and Brandon Criss with his wife Cynthia brother Michael Livingston and a grandchild that is coming soon.
