Joe was a freshman in 1953, a Sophomore in 1954, then a Senior in 1955.  Frank Gravley confirmed that several students had accumulated enough credits to graduate early as Joe did.

 

OBITUARY

Joe Dagnell
Joe Dagnell, 55, of Carrollton, owner and operator of D&D Auto Parts and Machine Shop, died Tuesday, June 16, 1992, in Carrollton.
Mr. Dagnell was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Plano and resided in Carrollton most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Molly K. Dagnell of Carrollton; three children, Misty Joe, Donny and  Bobby; four grandchildren; his mother, Blanche Dagnell of Dallas; two sisters, Patsy Dagnell Smith and Peggy Dagnell McLean, both of Dallas; a brother-in-law, John McLean of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. June 18 at Rhoton Chapel with the Rev. Joe Heaton officiating. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park.
