OBITUARY

DAGNELL , RUBY BLANCHE born December 11, 1909 to Joseph and Essie Pidcock Warren in Hill County. She passed away on Thursday, December 26. 2002. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Dagnell after 54 years of marriage; her son, Joe Doyle Dagnell ; a grandson, David James Smith II; and several siblings. She is survived by daughters Patsy Smith Flowers of Rockwall, and Peggy McLean Frechette of Dallas. She is also survived by grandchildren, Louann Smith of Dallas, Jo Ellen Smith Sholl of Leesburg, Virginia; Sharon McLean Stewart of Burleson, Steve McLean of Aubrey; Misty Jo Dagnell Robertson of San Francisco, California, seven great grandchildren, and brothers, Otho Warren of Grandview, Billy Warren of Hillsboro, and sisters, Oma Dell Jamerson of Corpus Christi, Marie Hall of Grandview, and Jean Perkins of Irene, Blanche and Joe T. were devout Methodists and members of the First United Methodist Church in Carrollton where she taught Sunday school for many years. Blanche was a past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge at Farmers Branch #81. She was also a representative with Avon in the Carrollton area for many years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Carrollton 1820 Pearl St., Carrollton, TX 75006, if desired. Family will receive visitors from 7-9 PM Sunday, December 29, 2002 at Rhoton Funeral Home. Services will he held at First United Methodist Church of Carrollton at 11:00 AM Monday, December 30, 2002.
