OBITUARY

BENJAMIN BLAKE DANIEL, SR.

86, of Carrollton, passed away February 19, 2010 in Carrollton. He was born February 27, 1923 in Dalark, Arkansas the son of Rufus Hartwell and Johnnie Evans Daniel.

Mr. Daniel was a retired Mobil Oil employee where he worked in the aviation department at Love Field until 1984.

Blake was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Airforce.

Preceded in death by his wife Kathryn in 1977, he is survived by his daughter Judy Daniel Norris of Carrollton; a son, Ben Daniel, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Carrollton; grandchildren, Kimberly Allen and husband Don of Carrollton, Kenya Sprague and husband Steve of Lewisville, Veronica Ware and husband Tony of Richardson, Kelli Norris of Houston, Jennifer Hemingway and husband Michael of Elmo; great-grandchildren, Greg Andrews, Jillian Parker, Matthew Sprague, Katie Lott, Kassidy Lott and Rebecca Hemingway and a sister, Mary John Lee of Little Rock, Arkansas..

Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, from 3-5 p.m. at the Rhoton Funeral Home where services also will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow at Furneaux Cemetery.
