After suffering many long months with cancer of the stomach, Mrs. Ruben Davis, who was prior to her marriage, Miss Eva Whitlock, died at her home at Hebron Friday of last week. Funeral services were held at Hebron Baptist church and burial at Cemetery Hill.
Mrs. Davis had many friends here having for many years made her home with Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Whitlock.
Through the many months of intense suffering she was ever patient and hopeful.  She was a good true Christian and has gone to her reward in heaven where suffering and death are unknown. Our sympathy goes out to the husband, two stepsons and other relatives.
