OBITUARY
Jimmie Ruth Norvell Derr of Doylestown passed away in Doylestown Hospital,
Doylestown, Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017. She was 95.
Born Nov. 20, 1921, in Farmers Branch, Texas, Jimmie resided in Arlington,
Texas, before moving to Doylestown in 2003.
Jimmie was a member of the Toe Tappers Dance Group of Doylestown; she also
enjoyed art, acrylic and oil painting.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Norvell and the late George Derr;
devoted mother of Mike Norvell and wife, Jane, and the late Kathy Norvell;
loving grandmother of Amanda Norvell and husband, Steve, and Joanna Hunt and
husband, Drew; and cherished great-grandmother of Madalyn, Brandon, and Aidan
Hunt, and Charles and Henry McMahon.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Varcoe-Thomas
Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
