ERICKSON, Barbara Dale On April 23, 1937, Marvin and Dorothy Hays gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Dale, in Dallas, Tx. Little did they know the joy that she would bring for all of us whose pathway she crossed for the next 79 years. Dale passed away on Sept 4 in Carrollton, Tx. Dale never saw anything but the best in everyone she met. She was born with an infectious smile that made all of us the beneficiary of having met her and the feeling that we were all her best friend. Saying that Dale had a love for all living things is an understatement. Her devotion to her family was unquestionable. She will be missed by all of those who knew her, but we all know that her legacy is that she has made our world a better place by being part of our lives. Dale is survived by her husband Charles Erickson; son Matthew; son David and and wife, Rita; grandsons Nathan and Aaron; along with her two best friends, sister Ann Perry and cousin Bobbie Phillips. A visitation will be at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 I-35/Crosby Rd in Carrollton, Tx. on Thursday, Sept 8, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A private burial will be at a later date at Perry Cemetery in Carrollton.
