Lora Sue Featherston
1950 - 2019

FEATHERSTON, Lora Sue Lora Sue Featherston, 68, of Farmers Branch, died February 14, 2019 in Plano, TX. Born on December 7, 1950 in Marshall, MO, Lora moved to Farmers Branch in 1957 and graduated from RL Turner High School and the Executive Secretarial School in1968. She joined the First Christian Church of Carrollton in 1959 and was an active member until her death. Lora was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Larry Wayne Featherston, Sr.; parents, Floyd and Jeane Witcher; and her sister, Barbara. She is survived by her mother-in-law, Emma Featherston; sister, Jackie Boatright; son and wife, Doctors Larry and Jennifer Featherston; daughter Lacey Higgins; and grandchildren, Caleb, Mallory, Bogard, Jackson, Cain, and Peyton. A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Saturday, March 9, at the First Christian Church of Carrollton and a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas.
