OBITUARY

Another Pioneer is Gone

Silas H. Fisher, aged 70 years, died at a hospital in Dallas, Wednesday, Jan 14, after a sickness of several months. Funeral services were held at Weever Funeral Home on McKinney avenue at 2 o'clock the following day and interment made in Cox Cemetery.  Dr. Marshall Craig officiated at the funeral.
Mr. Fisher had been a resident of Dallas for fifty years and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Wall and Mrs. L. H. Mamon of Dallas, Mrs. C. L. Cook of Farmers Branch; one son John W. Fisher of Farmers Branch; two sisters Mrs. J. C. Ward and Mrs. A. B. Kirk of Dallas; one brother: W. E. Fisher of Dallas; and seven grandchildren.
