Doris Barter Floyd, 68, of Clovis, died Friday, June 17, 2005, at her home.
She was born on June 7, 1937, in Farmers Branch, Texas, to Ossie and Nevie Chambers Barter.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Family members said she enjoyed dancing.
Survivors include her companion, Clois Jeffries of Clovis; three daughters, Vickie Williams of Clovis, Jo Rie Jeffries (companion, Javier Antuna) of Avondale, Ariz., and LaDawn Ridenour (husband, Brandon) of Hobert, Ind.; a son, Russ Glaser of Clovis; a sister, Linda Erdmann of Muleshoe; and three grandchildren, Kyle, DeLani, and Tanner Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother.
Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
