DOT HUSKY FLOYD
(August 18, 1928 - July 30, 2012

Dot Husky Floyd, age 83, of Azle, formerly of Irving, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at her home. Born August 18, 1928 in rural Wills Point, Texas in Van Zandt County, she was the daughter of Marvin Mohorn White and Leoner Lee Lawrence. She was a seamstress for Sunny Isle Clothing in Dallas before her retirement. She was Baptist. Survivors include daughters Peggy Husky of Azle, Judy Fagan and husband John of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Leroy White and Cecil White; two sisters, Irene McGinnis and Martha Mauck; three grandchildren, Shannon Pierson, Bridget Fletcher and Lydia Husky; and six great grandchildren, Sydia Lester, Dakota Lester, Lisa Lester, Mckenzie Pierson, Mckala Pierson, and Billy Fletcher. The family will receive friends at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Furneaux (Hill) Cemetery in Carrollton.
