BILLIE'S OBITUARY
Billie Graham Ford, age 88, of Dallas, TX passed away on March 30, 2020.

Billie was born in Ackerly, TX on March 8, 1932 to James Claude Graham and Elnora Frances Brewer, who both preceded her in death.

She graduated from Big Spring High School in 1949 and looked forward to visiting with her fellow classmates and friends during their annual high school reunions every Spring. After school, she moved to Galveston, TX and enjoyed spending time at the beach, often returning over the years for vacations. Billie moved to Dallas, TX in 1950 and had a long career in the finance industry, retiring from Fleetwood Credit Corporation in 1998. She was a member of Lake Highlands Baptist Church for many years.

Billie will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to the many people who were fortunate to be a part of her life. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, going on Sunday drives with her husband, reading her Bible and daily devotionals, and traveling. She was a confidant and helping hand to many, often serving as a caretaker to numerous family and friends.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Howard “Pete” Ford, and siblings Claudie Graham, Jo Jeans and Weldon Graham. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Cavender and husband John of Rowlett, TX; son David Cook of Garland, TX; son Patrick Ford of Joplin, MO; grandchildren Brian Cavender of Rowlett, TX; Heather Harris and husband Daniel of Fate, TX; Meredith Wright and husband James of Dallas, TX; Dalton Ford and Taryn Sanders of Afton, OK; Sacha Reilly and husband Colin of Tuscon, AZ; Jason Cook and wife Olivia of Duarte, CA; Joshua Cook and wife Jennifer of Hewitt, TX; and nine great-grandchildren.
