OBITUARY

FORD
WILLIAM B. (BILL), age 87 of San Antonio, Texas, died Tuesday, November 24, 1992.  Mr. Ford was co-owner of C&S Sporting Goods from 1930 until 1970.  He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he was All Southwest Conference Athlete in football and baseball.  Mr. Ford served proudly as a Major in the United States Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946.  Survivors: son, Professor Guthrie Ford, San Antonio; grandson, Brian Ford, Carmel, CA; sisters, Mrs. Lois Thurlow, Mrs. Dorothy Good, both of San Antonio, Mrs. Janice Kirby, Dallas, Nell Winder, Hobbs, NM; brother, H. M. Ford, Jr. Dallas; step-son, Col. Sharpe McCullough USA (Reg), San Antonio
