OBITUARY
 
Andrew Knapp (Andy) Fosheim
1964 - 2020

Andrew (Andy) Knapp Fosheim, 56, of Carrollton, TX passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Andy was born January 1, 1964 in Quincy, IL, the son of Edward and Elizabeth Fosheim. He moved to Farmers Branch in 1974 and played on local youth baseball and basketball teams. He graduated from RL Turner High School in 1982, where he played on the basketball team and was an honorable mention member of the DMN All-Metro Team.

Andy graduated from TCU in 1986 where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity and competed with the TCU lacrosse and rodeo clubs. Following graduation Andy worked for Ace Cash Express in the Dallas area and later managing a series of stores for ACE in Baltimore and Memphis and franchises in Kansas City. He most recently worked for the City of Carrollton and HCA in Coppell.

Andy was an avid reader, historian, loved the movies, television series, and a huge sports fan cheering on his beloved Horned Frogs, the Cowboys, Cubs and Rangers. He helped coach his nephews' Mary Immaculate basketball teams and followed all his nephews' activities with interest.

Andy is survived by his brother Mike (Susan) of Dallas, his sister Kris Baginski of Carrollton, who lovingly cared for him the last few years, nephews Erik and Matthew Fosheim of Dallas, John Baginski and fiancé Gabby Conely of Savannah, TX, and Mark Baginski of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Steve Baginski.

Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment with his parents in Lake Forest Cemetery in Grand Haven, MI at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of Pinewood Hills Retirement community in Flower Mound, his home health nurse Shaunna, and the staff in the ICU at Lewisville Medical City.
