OBITUARY

Foster, Harriet
Harriet Foster, of  Plano, TX went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2009. Harriet was born on January 31, 1925. She married J. C. Foster January 16, 1943 and spent 66 wonderful years as his wife and partner. To this union was born three children, Dale, Kay and Kim. Harriet loved to cook, entertain, play golf and bridge, but most of all be with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Life was filled with fun times with friends and family on local lakes water skiing and fishing, snow skiing in Colorado and 13 wonderful years of golfing in Horseshoe Bay, TX. Harriet was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Carrollton, TX and in recent years was a member of Saint Andrew Methodist Church in Plano.  She is survived by her husbanded, J. C. Foster, son Dale Foster and wife Pam; daughter, Kay Broadie and husband Ken; daughter, Kim Arthur and husband Brice; seven grandchildren; three great grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. Nama/Nannie we love you !  Harriet's family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 2 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Road, Dallas. A funeral service to celebrate Harriet's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, at The Church of the Holy Communion, 17405 Muirfield Drive, Dallas. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Frankford Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. www.Diabetes.org or 800-342-2383
