Born in Wills Point, TX on Dec. 12, 1959
Departed on Apr. 10, 2009 and resided in Wills Point, TX.

Funeral services for James A. Foster, 49, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Larry Barrett and Pastor Lonnie Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

He passed away early Friday morning, April 10, 2009, at his residence.

James was born December 12, 1959, in Wills Point, Texas, the son of Billy Allen Foster and Peggy R. Furrh Foster. He was raised in the Irving and Carrollton areas. In 1978, he graduated from R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He lived in Carrollton prior to moving to Wills Point in 1984. On December 10, 1994, he married Janie Key Davis in Wills Point. James had been employed by American National Bank in Terrell, Dallas Christian Video and Wal-Mart in Canton in the maintenance department. He was involved with the youth and children's ministry and music ministry at the Edgewood Church of God. He was currently attending the First Assembly of God Church in Terrell. James loved his family very much and his son, Zachary was his pride and joy.

Preceded in death by his father, Billy Foster; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur D. Foster and Mr. & Mrs. James H. Furrh, Sr.; uncle, Bryant Foster and two cousins, Timy Furrh and Stevie Furrh.

James is survived by his wife, Janie Foster, of Wills Point; mother, Peggy Ingram & husband, Billy, of Wills Point; son, Zachary James Allen Foster, of Wills Point; two step-sons, Michael Davis & girlfriend, Kory Theemling, of Dallas and Matt Harrison, of Dallas; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers: Larry Mitchell, Don Davis, Robert Cooper,
Michael Barrett, Lowrie Sanders and Steven McKnight

Honorary pallbearers: James H. Furrh, Jr. and Blake Furrh

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
