JOSIE COFFER FOWLER
JOSIE COFFER FOWLER, Born April 6, 1922 in Royse City, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2005. Josie worked for 20 years at Employers Casualty Insurance Company and the remainder of her career in the Dallas Public Library system. Josie graduated from Royse City High School and Texas Womans University. She was a lifelong Baptist. Surviving are her daughter, Dr. Mary Becerril of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandson, Joseph Becerril of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Walter Coffer and Phillip Coffer of Dallas, Texas; 2 sisters-in-law; one sister, Julia Sullivent of Royse City, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, great neices and great nephews. Josie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and an infant son. Visitation will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home Chapel in Carrollton on Sunday, December 11, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. Services will be held Monday, December 12, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Metrocrest Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the chapel building fund at Dallas Baptist University.
