Mr. Franklin was born on February 17, 1936 and passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010.
Mr. Franklin was a resident of Monroe, Louisiana at the time of his passing.
He completed computer courses at a business college. He continued his education receiving his Certificate in Data Processing, Certified Life Underwriter, and continued his education throughout his carreer at ULM.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army serving from 1955 until 1957.
He is survived by his wife Saundra.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 10, 2010 at North Monroe Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Eckhardt and Rev. David Worthington officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. La. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at North Monroe Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to North Monroe Baptist Church Building Fund.
