OBITUARY

Herman C. Franklin
CARROLLTON, Texas - Funeral services for Herman C. Franklin, 50, of 1804 Walnut, Carrollton, a supervisor with the Peter Pal Candy Co., of Dallas for 13 years, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the College Avenue Baptist Church in Carrollton.
The Rev. Nolan Sumner and Dr. Fred A. White will officiate. Burial will be in the Hilltop Cemetery in Carrollton.
Mr. Franklin died unexpectedly Sunday at his home.
A native of Mount Vernon, Mr. Franklin farmed for many years before joining the Peter Paul Co. He had been a resident of Carrollton for 20 years and was a member of the College Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Marlin L. Myers of Carrollton; a son, Bobby R. Franklin of Carrollton; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Billie Braswell of Carrollton; a stepson, Charles Fryar of Carrollton; three sisters, Mrs. Stanley Gubernat of Fort Worth and MRs. Mary L. Francis and Mrs. George H. Lang of Dallas, and four grandchildren.
