Dorothy M. Galloway FEBRUARY 24, 1924 – MARCH 25, 2018 Dorothy M. Galloway, age 94, of Rockwall, Texas passed away on Monday March 26, 2018. Dorothy was born February 25, 1924. Dorothy is survived by; son Jack Galloway; son Jimmie Galloway and wife Lolly; son Thomas Galloway and wife Janis; and daughter Carolyn Fulmer and husband Gary; sister Flora Anderson, brother Thomas Hedrick and wife Shirley and brother Donnie Hedrick and wife Barbara; twelve grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and twenty six great-great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by; husband, Lieutenant M.E. Galloway; daughter Jimmie Lou Galloway, daughter Tommie Sue Galloway and daughter-in-law Linda Galloway; sister Frances Martin and sister Vera Hedrick; one grandchild and three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Dorothy married M.E. Galloway in 1939 and they were married for 46 years. She was a long time member of the Highland Baptist Church. She worked for the Carrollton Senior Center. Dorothy was a member of the Carrollton Women's Club. Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for A&P grocery. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Rhoton Funeral Home. A funeral service for Dorothy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2018 at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35e, Carrollton, TX 75006. Burial will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park, Carrollton, Texas.
