NORMA RIGSBY (MAMO) GARRETT, 88, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother went peacefully to be with the Lord on January 4, 2008 in Carrollton, Tx. Born to Henry B. and Euna Reeves Rigsby on Sept 13, 1919 in Weston, Collin County, Tx. Married M.L. Garrett December 30, 1941 in Kaufman, Tx. Preceded in death by husband, M.L. Garrett, parents, Henry B. and Euna Rigsby, brother Ernest and wife Abby Rigsby, brother Bill Rigsby, sister Leta and husband Luke Johnson. Survived by daughter, Martha and husband Bill Shipp, son Gary and wife Robyn Garrett, daughter Pam and Edd Peterson. Step daughter Cleo and husband Ernest Camp, sister-in-law Beverly Rigsby, sixteen grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved crafts, gardening and was an avid Texas Ranger fan. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday night at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton. Services will be at 10 am Monday, January 7 at Rhoton Funeral Home.
