OBITUARY

Services Set for Victim of Car Collision

Funeral services for the Rev. Paul Ed Gentry, 37, of Field City, who was killed in a head-on automobile crash near Royse City Monday will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Field City Baptist Church of which he was a pastor.
The Rev. Paul Ray and the Rev. J. A. Peveto will officiate. Burial will be in Decatur, Wise County.
Gentry was riding with the Rev. Frank Wright, 52, pastor of the Baptist Church in Union bower when Wright's car collided with a car driven by Mrs. W. E. Smith of Pawtucket, R.I.  Mrs. Smith's husband and the two ministers were killed.
Gentry had been an ordained minister for six years. He had been at Field City for two years before that was pastor of the Love Field Baptist Church.
Gentry is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Gentry of Decatur; a sister, Mrs. Clyde Shaw of Dallas; and two brothers, T. L. Gentry of Decatur and Glenn Gentry of Tracy, Calif.
Funeral services are under the arrangement of the Lamar & Smith Chapel
