"Nic" Nicole George
(April 15, 1986 - January 4, 2013)
Services for Miss Shametra Nicole George will be 11 a.m. Saturday,
January 12, 2013 at St. Paul Baptist Church, with Rev. James Shans,
officiating. Interment will follow in Grable Cemetery. Visitation hours
will be from 12-8 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at the funeral home.
Miss Shametra "Nic" Nicole George was born April 15, 1986, in Longview,
Texas, to Lonnie Crayton and Connie George. Nicole was educated in the
Longview Independent School District and graduated from high school in
Carrollton, Texas. She was reared most of her childhood in Bivins
Addition. Nicole had a sweet, loving spirit and was adored by her
family.
Preceding her in death was her paternal grandfather, Andrew Hawkins. He
preceded her in death on April 14, 1986. Nicole came into the world the
next day. She was also preceded in death by two cousins, Jeremiah
Pippins, Joshua Crayton and LaChoya George.
Nicole leaves to cherish her memories: the love of her life and
beautiful daughter, Jayla George; mother, Connie George and step-father,
Anthony Williams; father, Lonnie and stepmother, Marsha Crayton; sister
Dominique Crayton,of Tyler, Texas; maternal grandparents, Lieutenant,
Sr., and Alice Faye George; paternal grandmother, Clara Crayton; step
grandmother, Bobbie Sutton; three step-sisters, Shaunequa, Kendra and
Melanie Moore; ten aunts, Faye Nell Pippins, Annette George, Parthenmia
Hawkins, all of Dallas, Texas, Carol (Johnny) Carter, Vivian Crayton,
Daphne Crayton, Lisa George, Cynthia George, Jennifer George and
Charlotte Coleman, all of Longview, Texas; six uncles, Sanford (Dorothy)
Crayton of Ft. Worth, Texas, Leslie (Monica) Crayton of Dallas, Texas,
Howard (Carolyn) Hawkins, Johnny (Linda) Crayton, Lieutenant George, Jr.
and Curtis George, all of Longvie, Texas; a very special friend Calvin
Williams; best friends, Tamara Craddock and Brittany Satra; other
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. |
